Clayton Holmes Grissom was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on 30 November 1978 to his mother, Faye Aiken Parker and his late father, Vernon Grissom. When he was 25 years old he released his debut album, "Measure of a Man." He also acted in various musicals: The Music man, Oklahoma, and countless stage plays. A successful solo tour, sponsored by Disney, took Clay and company to thirty states for fifty shows during the summer of 2004. He founded the Bubel/Aiken Foundation to include children with neurological disabilities in activities with typical children.His debut album sold over 600,000 copies in the USA in its first week of release. It has sold almost 2.5 million in the US. His single, 'This Is The Night', went platinum in the US, and 6 times platinum in Canada.
